The construction of this arena was started on 22nd July 1997 and opened its gates to the public on 6th November 1999. This arena was also known as Conseco Fieldhouse and Bankers Life Fieldhouse. In 2021, Gainbridge became the new naming rights partner and named the arena Gainbridge Fieldhouse.
